I've noted that his gun is, in fact, a SMG with a hardcore silencer attachment. It might be an FPS, at least I hope it is. 'Cause that cool technicolor binocular zoom would be a shame to go to waste. Lastly, it seem the city's "superintendent" will be the game's equivalent to Cortana in that he tells you where to go.

So, what are your theroies on this paticular trailer?

Well I think you're a Helljumper (ODST) sent into New Mombassa after the Prophet's Slipspace explosion thing.

I think you're sent from the ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) judging by the Superintendent posts that were up on Bungie.net and in the trailer when the Superintendent tries to access the UNSC database to identify the vehicle it is blocked, the search is terminated. So I think you're some sent by the ONI, its a classified mission.

It's going to be a stealthier game with the silenced SMG, and simply due to the fact your not a Spartan anymore, no more metallic skeleton, armour and shields. ODST helmets are meant to have motion and heat sensors inside of them.

I think the Superindentant gets damaged during the slipspace jump and can now only communicate using street signs and the like.

Or maybe I'm just reading too much into things.

And what does ONI have to do with dis?Dude,its a UNSC ODST Helljumper.There is no ONI in that war.At least I think so.NO!Definitly not!Most of the battles r in space man.SPACE!And the UNSC is tha navy.Watch tha first animation in Halo 2.Youl see what i mean.
